DENISE Cahill has been appointed editor of the NT News.
Cahill has been head of news at the paper since April 2020 after moving to the Territory from Western Australia.
She was previously at Community News for 18 years.
“It’s an exciting time for the Territory and I’m really looking forward to leading the best news team in the NT,” Cahill said.
“I can’t wait to make more connections across the Territory and continue to bring our readers fearless, breaking and investigative news coverage and, of course, croc yarns.”
Cahill replaces Matt Williams, who was promoted to News Corp Australia’s national racing & sports wagering editor in June.
