MANTON Dam has been closed after a “medium” sized saltie was spotted in the water on Thursday.
Rangers spotted the croc.
Darwin/Urban Parks Chief District Ranger Louise Kean said in-water activities would close at Manton Dam immediately but the park would remain open to the public for picnics and fishing.
“Just stay out of the water,” she said.
“Rangers will now conduct night surveys to remove the crocodile.”
