The owners of a landmark Darwin fashion house are cleaning up for the second-time in 18 months after the store’s glass front window was smashed by vandals.
Attitude for Men and The Dress Code owner Darlene Chin woke to a call from police on Tuesday morning after one of the glass doors at the vast facade at the front of the shop was smashed.
Security vision showed three teenagers first trying to shake-open the shop door before kicking it and eventually throwing a rock.
It appears the youths did not enter the premises before they fled the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
In May last year Ms Chin was forced to replace the glass facade after hoons ram-raided the building.
That incident came during an epidemic of CBD crime that the Country Liberal Party government has vowed to stamp out.
Boarding has been put over the smashed store window until it’s repaired.
Attitude for Men is one of Darwin’s oldest and best-known retailers in the Darwin CBD, trading for more than 30 years.
