Two people have been arrested over the murder of Melbourne man Zivan Radmanovic and the shooting of Sanar Ghanim in Bali.
Indonesian Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo announced the arrests on Tuesday afternoon.
“Two people have been arrested by our officers,” he said.
“One person is already in Jakarta and the other is currently en route to Jakarta from abroad.”
It is understood Bali Regional Police will release a statement and a press conference will be held on Wednesday.
The arrests come as more details about the Bali trip, which was a holiday Mr Radmanovic took with his wife to celebrate her 30th birthday.
On Tuesday, mourners believed to be family arrived to view Mr Radmanovic’s body at the morgue.
Mr Radmanovic was shot dead in the bathroom of a Badung villa by the gunmen, but a motive is yet to be established.
Three people arrived at Prof Ngoerah Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, including the mother of his wife, Jazmyn Gourdeas.
A GoFundMe page has also been created by a friend of Ms Gourdeas, Jamie Lee, as Indonesian police announced the arrests over the attack, which occurred on Saturday morning.
Ghanim, who is the former partner of Carl Williams stepdaughter, Danielle Stephens, was shot in the leg and has since been released from hospital.
The online fundraiser said Mr Radmanovic and Ms Gourdeas had been married for just under a year and were “deeply in love”.
“On June 14th, while on what should have been a joyful holiday in Bali celebrating Jazmyn’s 30th birthday, her world was shattered,” Ms Lee wrote.
“Her beloved husband, Zivan — a devoted father and loving partner — was tragically taken from them in a sudden act of violence.
“This sudden and devastating loss has left Jazmyn a single mother to six beautiful children, aged from just 9 months to 13 years.”
“Whilst only married for just under a year, the couple were deeply in love and shared a family together.
“Now Jazmyn faces the unimaginable challenge of caring for their large family alone — including three children diagnosed with epilepsy who require ongoing medication, therapies, and frequent medical appointments.”
The post says that Ms Gourdeas’ children were being cared for by her family in Australia while she is “working through this crisis” and will extend her stay in Bali while investigations continue.
Ms Gourdeas hid beneath covers as the gunmen, wearing helmets, shot dead her husband.
Mr Radmanovic was also described as a family man.
“Zivan was a kind, hardworking man devoted to his family,” Ms Lee wrote.
“His loss leaves a huge hole in their lives, but together, we can help Jazmyn and her children find a way forward.”
Bali police spokesman Sen Commissioner Ariasandy earlier on Tuesday said Ghanim was under the “observation” of investigators.
“Of course we are interested in obtaining statements from this individual as a witness.....So, let’s wait and see what the district police investigators are working on.”
He said all victims and witnesses would be required to stay in the country.
“They are still here, they are still being questioned,” he said.
Mr Radmanovic’s family has given approval for an autopsy to be conducted.
Sources have told News Corp the deadly ambush in Bali may have been over a dispute in Melbourne between criminals.
More to come.
