Tattooed bodybuilder sues Bondi Bucket List over brawl
A tattooed, Instagram-famous bodybuilder and fitness label owner is suing a popular Bondi bar and restaurant over a brawl that left him with scarring and a broken tooth.

A inked, Instagram-famous bodybuilder is suing a beachside Bondi restaurant for not stopping someone from clubbing him with a bar stool.
Clinton Chadwick is suing, Bondi Beach Foods Pty Ltd, the owner of The Bucket List Bondi and Pavilion Bar.
According to court documents filed into the Supreme Court of NSW, Mr Chadwick is claiming the brawl left him with severe headaches, depression, anxiety, disturbed social relationships, concussions, scarring and a broken tooth.
The bodybuilder, tattoo enthusiast and founder of fashion label Rig Fit Activewear filed the lawsuit in November last year, more than two years after the brawl took place.
According to court documents obtained by The Daily Telegraph, Mr Chadwick claims the fight happened at the Bucket List about 6pm on December 22, 2017.
He was at the bar with two friends when one was verbally insulted by another man, he claims in the court documents.
Chadwick claims he didn’t know the man but he had been drinking alcohol with his own friends before the verbal insult took place.
The verbal insult turned into argument until Chadwick was “violently struck” in the head with a metal bar stool, falling unconscious to the ground.
“Whilst the (he) was rendered unconscious and vulnerable on the ground, the (man), armed with the metal bar stool, continued the assault on (Mr Chadwick),” the statement of claim reads.
“This included administering a number of further blows to the (his) head using the legs of the metal bar stool causing him to sustain further severe head injuries.”
Mr Chadwick posted a photos of his battered face while sitting on a hospital bed to Instagram a week after the alleged brawl took place.
“Couple of chairs to the head, a glass, 20 stitches later and still killing it!,” he posted.
“Another big thank you to St Vincent Hospital Sydney.”
Mr Chadwick claimed there was only one security guard on duty when the fight took place and neither he or any bar staff tried to stop the brawl.
He claims Bondi Beach Foods had a duty of care to prevent this kind of violent assault happening in its restaurant.

Bondi Beach Foods filed a statement of defence to the Supreme Court of NSW.
In its statement, the company did not admit the fight took place and denies that there was only one security guard working and nobody intervened to stop the fight.
The company states its duty of care does not extend to preventing criminal conduct by a third party.
Mr Chadwick is no stranger to trouble.
The Instagram-famous businessman claimed he had a criminal record when he appeared on Sunday Night television program back in October 2018.
Mr Chadwick said he spent 18 months in juvenile detention when he was caught dealing ecstasy at 17.
“I just made a few mistakes and I paid for it with a year and a half of my life,” Mr Chadwick said at the time.
“(It) changed everything for me, and even though it was a terrible experience it was a life-changing experience. It pushed me in the right direction.
“I was bad, but I think you’re a product of your environment.”
