ABOUT 7000 revheads are expected to flock to Hidden Valley Raceway this weekend for the second event of Darwin’s historic Supercars double-header.
The CoreStaff Darwin SuperSprint could see Scott McLaughlin overtake the great Peter Brock on the all-time Supercars wins list with one victory from this weekend’s three races.
It comes after Jamie Whincup claimed the coveted Triple Crown last weekend which was attended by more than 7000 across both days.
A NT Major Events spokeswoman said crowds are expected to be just as big this weekend, with more than 1000 tickets sold to people living interstate.
“We look forward to welcoming people back to the track this Saturday and Sunday for the CoreStaff Darwin SuperSprint,” she said.
