A HOON has had his vehicle seized by police while another driver has been issued a notice to appear after reversing into a police officer in a wild night on Territory roads.
In the first incident, police foot patrols on Kitchener Drive saw a driver hooning before losing control of his car and crashing into the kerb.
The driver crashed again after reversing into one of the police officers as he tried to evade them.

The 20-year-old man was issued a notice to appear for driving in a dangerous manner and hooning.
Superintendent Daniel Shean said this sort of irresponsible behaviour was unacceptable.
“Across the Darwin Region, we have been experiencing heavy rain and the road conditions can become poor,” he said.
“The first driver is extremely lucky that he did not further harm the officer or anyone else.”
The officer suffered only minor injuries.
Moments later a second vehicle in the area was seen to be hooning, with the Holden Commodore stopped by police.
