PayStay app back up and running ending free parking in Darwin city centre

MOTORISTS will have to start paying for parking in the Darwin CBD from Wednesday after the PayStay App was reinstated.

PayStay have confirmed the app was back up and running from 2pm Tuesday.

DARWIN’S PayStay app is currently experiencing an outage and Darwin council says no fines will be issued during while the system is down.

The PayStay app outage means those using the system are currently unable to pay for parking.

However Darwin council has confirmed no fines will be issued to motorists adhering to time restrictions.
