Pair to face court on multiple charges over Howard Springs Tavern ram raid

TWO people have been charged with allegedly ram raiding the Howard Springs Tavern on Monday morning after a stolen 4WD was smashed through the bottle shop’s roller door.

Domonica Sambona, 22, and Scott Olsen, 24, both appeared in the Darwin Local Court today after being arrested on Monday.

“Several” youths” were also seen running from the scene.

Sombona was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful entry, criminal damage, stealing and possess cannabis while Olsen was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful entry, criminal damage and stealing.

Sambona will return to court on June 16 and Olsen will return to court on July 3.

Both were remanded in custody.
