One Nation has picked up two seats in the NSW Upper House while Liberal Democratic Party member David Leyonhjelm missed the cut.
Meanwhile the Animal Justice Party also had a surprise win, picking up a seat in the Legislative Council for the next eight years.
The NSW Legislative Council was finally revealed today after voting preferences were distributed by the NSW Electoral Commission.

The Coalition won eight seats, Labor won seven, The Greens two, One Nation two, Shooters, Fishers and Farmers one and Animal Justice Party one.
Candidates now have 24 hours to challenge the result and request a recount before the winners are formally announced by the NSW Electoral Commissioner on Tuesday.
The Coalition’s Catherine Cusack, Niall Blair, Damien Tudenhope, Taylor Martin, Sarah Mitchell, Natalie Ward, Natasha Maclaren Jones and Wes Fang all won seats.
Labor’s Tara Moriarty, Penny Sharpe, Greg Donnelly, Anthony D’Adam, Daniel Mookhey, Peter Primrose and Mark Buttigieg all won.
One Nation’s Mark Latham and Rod Roberts both picked up seats.
Mr Roberts is a retired policeman who has lived in Goulburn for the past 28 years.
After retiring from the force he worked in real estate for 10 years and now runs a small business. He met his upper house colleague Mark Latham nine months ago and says they have a “great” relationship.
Mr Roberts said he was pleased, albeit rather surprised, to win the seat.
“(I’m) nervous and excited and full of anticipation for the unknown, because when I say unknown I have never been in parliament before,” Mr Roberts said.
“I believe I have the ability to be able to work effectively in parliament but I’m nervous because of the unknown that’s all,” he said.”
Mr Roberts said he was not expecting to win the 21st seat on the Legislative Council.
“Look no, I was always hopeful of course as we all are, but being an old, experienced detective you don’t believe anything until you see it in writing,” he said.
Keep Sydney Open’s Tyson Koh was beaten to the final seat by Mr Roberts.
The Greens David Shoebridge and Abigail Boyd won seats, along with Emma Hurst from the Animal Justice Party and Mark Banasiak from the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers.
Ms Hurst said she had been “very hopeful” of winning a seat
“We are very, very happy to have won this,” she said.
“We want to see an end to the caged egg industry, so we will be fighting very hard to free hens from cages, and we will also be working hard to stop the mass slaughter of kangaroos in NSW and around Australia.”
