It is one of the oldest Montessori schools in NSW and is located on Sydney’s leafy north shore — getting those aged between three and six ready for “big school”.
The Lindfield Montessori Preschool in West Lindfield was the least state and federal government funded school in the three years to 2017.
The school — which accommodates up to 30 children — received just $194,837 in funding.
A comprehensive analysis of the most recently available data by The Daily Telegraph shows $92,215 came from the Federal Government and $102,622 came from the state government.
Karuna Montessori School in Narraweena was the second least funded school in the sate receiving $422,242 over the three year period.
The third least funded school in the state was Cameragal Montessori School that received a combined $495,696 in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
