THE girlfriend of Sea Eagles NRL star Dylan Walker has told police she is not afraid of him and wants to drop any domestic violence allegations.
A day after revelations police were challenging the Manly centre’s not guilty finding on charges of assaulting his partner Alexandra Ivkovic, The Saturday Telegraph can reveal that the former Miss Universe Australia had instructed her lawyer to write to Dee Why police over a month ago to tell them she felt safe.
Police did not reply.

“She said, ‘Greg, Dylan didn’t do anything wrong’,” Ms Ivkovic’s lawyer Greg Walsh said last night. “She said she was upset at the time. She has no fears whatsoever and she said any continuation of this process will cause her erroneous stress and upset.”
The Daily Telegraph broke the story on Thursday night that police prosecutors had handed their files to the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions to examine areas of appeal against the
decision last month by a Manly magistrate to find Walker not guilty of attacking Ms Ivkovic.
Mr Walsh said he had forwarded a detailed submission to police stating that she “did not want to proceed any further”.
“My client does not want this to proceed,” Mr Walsh said.
Magistrate Michelle Goodwin had ruled she was not satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt that Walker had assaulted Ms Ivkovic.
It had been alleged Walker had pulled his fiancee to the ground by her ponytail over an argument while he was playing a PlayStation video game.
She later retracted her statement, telling Walker’s hearing she had been in shock and did not have a firm grip on her emotions.
