“We would like to thank all the volunteers who gave their time over Christmas to help search for the man,” they said.
Grave fears were initially held for Mr Lemic after he went missing after his car became bogged in a creek known for being a crocodile habitat.
Police, SES crews and family relatives had been conducting extensive searches of Mr Lemic over the past few weeks.
Last week, Mr Lemic’s mother Yana Lemic made a public appeal for more information in a bid to find her son.
“We care deeply about our son and simply wish to know that he’s OK,” Ms Lemic said.
“We are so incredibly thankful for everyone who has helped in the search for Milan.”
