‘Karen from Brighton’ flees Victoria for NT’s Howard Springs to eventually move to Queensland

CORONAVIRUS social media sensation Karen from Brighton is fleeing her leafy Melbourne suburb for the Northern Territory’s Howard Springs quarantine facility.
Karen from Brighton, whose real name is Jodi Grollo, shot to infamy amid Victoria’s second round of coronavirus lockdown after complaining about having to walk the same streets of her suburb, declaring she’d “done all of Brighton”.

Ms Grollo, in an Instagram post to her 13,400 followers, revealed she was leaving Melbourne permanently to live in Queensland but would get there via first doing two weeks of quarantine in Darwin.
As a visitor from a hot spot, Karen from Brighton will have to quarantine at Darwin’s Howard Springs facility at a cost of $2500.
“I’m leaving on a jet plane, I don’t think that I’ll be back again,” Ms Grollo sang to the tune of the song written by John Denver.
“I really don’t want to go but Dan is just so full of shit.
“Why are we listening to all those flogs that don’t know, seriously, ‘I don’t know’, ‘I can’t recall’, ‘it’s wasn’t me’, ‘I don’t remember’.
“Bugger off, I’m over, I’m done, I’m out.”
Ms Grollo signs off by taking a swig of from a stubby of Victoria Bitter.
It is unknown if Ms Grollo is aware that Howard Springs is a strict dry facility.

Under the rules at Howard Springs, Ms Grollo would be allowed, in two 20 minute intervals a day to leave her room for a walk.
It is expected she will have done all of Howard Springs within a day.
