Kanye West has finally met his Australian in-laws.

Six months after marrying Melbourne’s Bianca Censori, the disgraced rapper now known as Ye has been holidaying in Japan with his blended family, including his new wife’s parents.

Censori’s sister Angelina let the cat out of the bag about the long-awaited meeting, posting a photo of their father Leo and mother Alexandra hand-in-hand on the streets of Tokyo.

West’s fans have since claimed that Censori’s parents also joined the celebrity couple in the crowd of a sumo wrestling match in Tokyo.

West and Censori – an architectural designer at his fashion brand Yeezy – married in the US in January, shortly after the “Gold Digger” rapper finalised his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

While West was rumoured to have been planning a visit to Australia in the days after their surprise nuptials, the 46-year-old was never spotted down under as the federal government warned he could be denied a visa because of his antisemitic outbursts.

It appears the couple instead used their recent Tokyo tryst to connect their blended family.

During the trip, Angelina posted a photo on Instagram of her sister wearing a pink bodysuit and tights at a Hello Kitty store, where they were joined by 10-year-old North, West’s eldest daughter with Kardashian.

Censori’s sister also shared a collection of selfies and tourist snaps from Japan last month – including the shot of her parents – as she said she loved Tokyo.

Earlier this week, photographs emerged of West and Censori watching a sumo event, with the Australian speaking to a couple resembling her parents while sitting in front of West.

She was wearing another signature skin-tight outfit while West continued his recent trend of dressing in public without shoes.

The rapper was also wearing a wedding ring. Conflicting reports had emerged in the wake of the surprise marriage about whether he and Censori had filed the legal paperwork.

However, in May, the Australian appeared in a TikTok video confirming she was married, in response to a man who asked for her phone number while shopping in a department store.

The secretive wedding also came after top fashion brands including Adidas, Gap and Balenciaga cut ties with West over his offensive antisemitic and pro-Nazi comments.

Censori has avoided speaking to the media about her relationship with West, while her family has similarly kept quiet about the former University of Melbourne student.

In January, Angelina told the Herald Sun: “It’s very exciting news for both my sister and the family but we choose to have some privacy for the time being.”
