As voters prepare to cast their ballots on Saturday, barbecues will fire up across Australia for the Democracy Sausage voting tradition.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton has said his favourite type of Democracy Sausage is with a bit of barbecue sauce and “well done” onions.
Meanwhile, volunteering at a Punchbowl sausage sizzle earlier in the campaign suggested Anthony Albanese was a traditionalist with photos showing the prime minister passing a local a sanga with onions on top of the sausage.
Use the map below to find out the polling booths near you with sausage sizzles, bacon and egg rolls, cakes and coffee.
Here are some of the venues that will be cooking up treats for you on May 3.
SYDNEY
FOWLER
Chipping Norton Public School will be open between 7am and 2pm.
The Bonnyrigg High School P&C is running a stall and will have halal options, coffee and cold drinks.
Mount Pritchard East Public School will have a democracy sausage sizzle stall.
BENNELONG
The P&C at Putney Public School will be hosting a sausage sizzle, cake stall, savoury vegetarian options, halal options.
At Meadowbank Public School will have a sausage sizzle and cake stall.
Kent Road Public School in Eastwood will also host a sausage sizzle and cake stall.
WENTWORTH
Waverley Public School will have a sausage sizzle, cake stall, vegetarian options at its fete.
The P&C of Rose Bay Public School will host a sausage sizzle and bake sale.
Double Bay Public School P&C is hosting a sausage sizzle, cake stall and will have vegan and vegetarian options.
Bellevue Hill Public School are fundraising with a sausage sizzle and cakes.
