Organiser Mia Lee said with a strict COVIDSafe plan, they hope the annual rock n’ roll car show would be “anxiety free and a fun opportunity for car owners and dads to relax”.

“It’s hard to work out what to do on Father’s Day, especially this year,” she said.

“Around 75 car enthusiasts are gearing up to show off their babies and we hope car crazy dads love it.”

The Gold Coast Hinterland will be a hive of activity too, with a picnic and alpaca bonanza at Canungra Valley Vineyards and a boot scootin’ farm day at Tommerup’s Dairy Farm.

Set menus will be on offer at Robina Pavilion and The Lucky Squire. Salt Meat and Cheese, Surfers Paradise is hosting two-hour boozy pasta masterclasses starting at $118 per person.
