Death of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has conjured many theories

The shock death in jail of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has conjured theories about hitmen and secret agents, writes Peter Michael

Epstein's death: "serious irregularities" lead to controversy

JEFFREY Epstein’s Aussie sex slave has a killer twist – with links to MI6, KGB and Mossad hit squads – in her “kiss-and-tell” memoirs, as investigators probe possible strangulation in the death of the disgraced billionaire.

Cairns mother-of-three Virginia Roberts Giuffre, 36, is at the epicentre of the global sex scandal unfolding a world away in New York, as a post-mortem revealed the jailed financier had multiple broken bones in his neck.

Just hours after Mrs Giuffre’s bombshell court documents were publicly released, the 66-year-old convicted sex offender was found dead in his high-security jail cell from an apparent suicide last Saturday.

Latest reports claim Epstein (pictured) had a broken hyoid, a bone near the Adam’s apple, raising questions about whether he died of suicidal hanging or if he was strangled as he awaited trial on charges of running an underage sex trafficking ring.

The FBI and US Inspector-General are investigating reports one of his jail wardens was not an official correctional officer, his former cellmate was a hugely muscled ex-cop in jail for killing four men, and that there was a possible malfunction in the security cameras.

President Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew, Duke of York, have been engulfed in the scandal, but all have denied any involvement or knowledge in Epstein’s crimes against dozens of underage girls, some as young as 14.

“What now?’’ I asked Mrs Giuffre (pictured) and her lawyer in a series of texts, calls and emails this week, with no sign of activity at her home in tropical far north Queensland.

Does she now sue his estate? How does Epstein’s chief accuser feel about his death hours after her steamy memoirs, in almost 2000 pages of documents, were made public?

She did call him “sugar daddy”. Does a part of her feel she has “blood on her hands”, as claimed by Epstein’s lawyer?

What dark secrets in her unfinished manuscript for a book, that reads like Fifty Shades of Grey, is worth killing or dying for?

But no response.

HER LAWYER Sigrid McCawley, in a statement to The Courier-Mail, said his death was “a cowardly and shameful suicide”.

“The victims await the true justice they have sought and deserve,” she said.

Epstein’s co-accused Ghislaine Maxwell, socialite, “man-eater” and daughter of late media tycoon Robert Maxwell, had been in hiding for months but on Monday was spotted at In-N-Out Burger in Universal City, Los Angeles.

When the body of her father, the disgraced British press baron, was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean near the Canary Islands in 1991, it was rumoured he hadn’t ended his own life, but was the victim of agents of the KGB, or MI6, or Mossad frogmen.

In a timely parallel, and a possible twist in the salacious “kiss-and-tell” diaries of the child sex slave, the same wild conspiracies are swirling about Epstein’s death. Maybe he was silenced to stop him spilling the beans.

Or, equally as likely, he was tipped over the edge by public humiliation and the prospect of up to 45 years in jail.

In her memoirs, the Cairns mum portrays Epstein in part as a shallow, callous pedophile who lusted after endless sex acts with pre-pubescent vulnerable girls and lent her out for sexual encounters with rich and powerful men.

She tells how his currency was blackmail, keeping secretly filmed sex tapes as insurance against his high society contacts.

But in other parts she describes him as a Richard Gere lookalike, who taught her etiquette, showered her with money, luxury gifts, flights around the world, stays in luxury hotels, and quiet nights at home watching Sex and the City.

Her job, from the age of 16, was to give him sexual massages, paid $200 a time, three times a day. She’d be paid $400 if she recruited other underage girls with a “girl-next-door look” to join in at orgies and sex parties in his private mansions.

“I was his personal porcelain doll,” Mrs Giuffre said.

“I was a compliant piece of candy. We were passed around like cocktails on a platter. Trading girls for favours is how he kept in the circle.”

She attended to his sexual desires during massages which invariably ended in intercourse. She also revealed being instructed to engage in “lesbian acts of foreplay and penetration” with a female dominatrix who used bondage, whipping, cutting, and “a black leather studded collar that lead down the back of my spine to cuff my hands and feet together”.

“Everyone that knew me believed I was living this enchanting life, a rags-to-riches success story that most people dream of,’’ she said.

“Only I knew the price to be paid.”
