A 24-year-old who describes himself as a “preaching the word of God” faces 15 sex assault charges relating to four Sydney attacks.

True Crime: Three of the worst serial killers in history

Police have charged self-proclaimed fitness educator and chef Anthony Glumac — who claims he “preaches the word of God” — over the alleged sexual assault of two teenagers and two women across Sydney over several years.

The 24-year-old was arrested in Campbelltown at 7.30am on Wednesday after a woman told police Glumac had sexually assaulted her while armed with a knife.

The arrest led police to connect the alleged violent assault to at least three similar cases dating back several years.

Child abuse and sex crimes squad detectives created Strike Force Honda in September to investigate the reports of alleged sexual assaults against two women and two teenagers.

Police will allege the self-described chef at “Japanese Fusion Restaurant” and fitness educator allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old in Picton, a 16-year-old in Darlinghurst and a 21- and 24-year-olds in Campbelltown.

NSW Police allege the incidents became increasingly violent over time, starting as choking and holding down and culminating with the alleged attacker producing a knife.

In a caption on one of Glumac’s social media profiles he describes himself as a “Young Boss” and in another, he claims he is “preaching (sic) word of God and praise”.

Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad Detective Chief Inspector Michael Haddow said detectives weren’t ruling out there may be more complainants.

“One of the reasons we are here today is because there were separate (women) not known to each other. Our concern is there may be other (complainants) out there,” he said.

Insp Haddow said a thorough investigation from the Child Abuse Squad led police to develop a “meticulous” evidence brief, which led to Wednesday’s arrest.

He said the impact of the alleged crimes on the complainants was significant.

Police have charged Glumac with 15 offences including aggravated sexual intercourse, sexual intercourse without consent and intentionally choking a person.

He is being held in custody overnight and is due to appear in court on Thursday.
