Indonesian police have returned to the luxury villa where Zivan Radmanovic was murdered and his mate was wounded as they retrace the movements of three Australian suspects under arrest who could face a firing squad.
The probe remains a top priority as the results of an autopsy on the body of Radmanovic was handed over to the investigation team on Friday.
Among the evidence police have obtained includes CCTV footage taken just prior and after the men allegedly stormed the luxury villa using a sledgehammer where Radmanovic, 32, his wife Jazmyn Gourdeas, 30, and Melbourne underworld figure Sanar Ghanim, 34, were staying.
Scooters and a white Toyota were used by the trio in their escape plan, police allege, which ended in one of the suspects being detained at Jakarta’s Soekharno Hatta Airport while his two alleged accomplices flew to Cambodia via Singapore before being stopped and flown back to Indonesia.
Results of Radmanovic’s autopsy have not been released to the media.
Bali Police Sen Commissioner Ariasandy said the investigation was active as the three Australian suspects under arrest – Darcy Francesco Jenson, 37, Coskun Mevlut, 23, and Tupou Pasa Midolmore – remain in detention.
“The results of the autopsy, forensic test(s) on evidence, the witness and victim statements and other things are still being processed by investigators,” he said.
“At the right time, the results will be conveyed to the media …”
Mr Ariasandy said investigators continue to search for a murder weapon.
“It’s still being investigated,” he said.
“One thing that I can explain, the bullet casings (are) 9mm (diameter).”
Ms Gourdeas’ family have flown to Bali as she remains a key witness to the violent raid.
She was on holiday with Radmanovic to celebrate her 30th birthday.
The Melbourne woman hid under covers as her husband was executed but saw the gunmen who were wearing helmets.
Police have not revealed any known motive for the shooting attack.
