A young man has been injured after a failing to land a motocross jump near Mount Isa on Tuesday morning.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed that a male in his early 20s had suffered shoulder and hip injuries in the dirt-bike accident on Moondarra Road near Lake Moondarra north of Mount Isa city at 9.25am.
A QAS spokeswoman said the man had also suffered a leg injury in the nasty spill.
She said the victim had been transported to Mount Isa Base Hospital in a stable condition.
