A man has been flown to Townsville following an incident on the Great Barrier Reef near the Whitsundays.
Paramedics rushed to Hardy Reef after a snorkelling incident just after 11.30am.
They treated a male in his 70s who was flown to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition.
