A new boutique and wellness retreat has opened in Bowen offering holistic healing and “Luxe Life” options for women.

Luxe Whitsundays is a partnership between Trish O’Sing and Kenley Collett combining four businesses under one roof.

The result is a “one-stop shop for women to retreat from life,” Owner Trish O’Sing said.

She had a vision to create a place where women felt seen, valued, and empowered to step into their fullest potential through outfits, a moment of healing, or a guiding hand in business.

Ms O’Sing opened the original business, Luxe Fashion House, in 2015 to empower women.

She closed it after having her daughter but reopened in October relocating to a new, bigger space merging with Down to Earth Skin and Beauty and TK Biz Support.

She has even brought in Kenley Collett from Kenley Collective as her business partner.

“Together we are bringing the community conscious boutique creations and wellness retreat services all under one roof,” she said.

“From boutique fashions, holistic healing and nutritional products, natural and organic skincare and wellness retreat services,”

“The retreat offers services to detox the body and re-energise the body’s cells to leave the body feeling lighter, refreshed and energised.”

Services available in the wellness retreat include LED and micro-current facials, a infra-red sauna dome and massage lounge.

Ms O’Sing said treatments included sound healing headsets and complete light block for a sensory experience.

Setting up the new space has not been easy, said Ms O’Sing.

“Once I found a shop space the long hard road started, demolition, three coats of paint on all walls and floors, build dressing rooms, electrical work, and setup,” she said.

“I have personally had to learn how to use tools for demo and building, along with painting.”

She said she got a lot of help from her hardware store who have been teaching her every step and even unboxing tools and products and explaining how to use them.

“It was a massive three weeks of physical work let alone the background work of collaborating with fashions designers and wellness specialists to get the latest in technology to provide detox and cell re-energisation equipment for my retreat treatments.”

Heavy rain in the region delayed the opening with stock and equipment unable to be transported to the new location.

“It had caused a lot of stress but everything has come together now better than we could ever have imagined,” she said.

The grand opening is on Friday, February 28, at 6pm with champagne, nibbles, a fashion show, demonstrations and giveaways.

Tickets can be purchased in store, 39a Williams Street, Bowen.
