Shocking brawl involving six people captured on camera at Royal Adelaide Show brawl
A woman’s head has been smashed into the ground during a violent brawl between six people — including children — at the Royal Adelaide Show.
A woman had her head smashed into the ground during a shocking brawl involving multiple people, captured on camera at the Royal Adelaide Show.
The sickening brawl, which broke out in the showbag pavilion about 5pm on Thursday, was uploaded to Snapchat.
In the chaotic video six people — some who appear to be children — are involved in three separate fights in front of a showbag stall.
Show organisers confirmed the footage appeared to have been taken at the Adelaide event.
It is not clear what started the fight.
In the video, a woman can be seen, grabbing another female by the hair and slamming her head into the ground.
A man steps in to try to break up the fight as a child armed with a showbag hits two other women three times as they fight on the ground nearby.
Other children caught up in the violence are frozen in fear — some screaming — as they watch the altercation unfold.
The third fight — on the far left — is not captured by the camera.
Police said they were investigating the incident and have spoken to two people who may have been involved.
They want anyone who may have witnessed the brawl to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Royal Adelaide Show general manager Michelle Hocking said anyone caught fighting at the event would be evicted.
“The people involved in that incident would have been escorted out of the event by security,” she told The Advertiser.
“If you plan to misbehave at the show, don’t come. It’s a family event and we don’t condone that type of behaviour.”
Meanwhile, fierce wind gusts brought more drama to the show today, bringing down a tent in the children’s area at this morning. Fortunately no one was hurt.
