Pedestrian dies after being hit by car on North Tce in Kent Town
A 40-year-old male pedestrian has died after being hit by a car that side-swiped a stationary bus and mounted a kerb on North Tce, Kent Town, this morning.

A 40-year-old male pedestrian has died after being hit by a car that side-swiped a stationary bus and mounted a kerb on North Tce, Kent Town, this morning.
Witnesses told The Advertiser a Toyota Rav 4 clipped a stationary bus about 8.30am.
The car then mounted a footpath and hit the pedestrian, a 40-year-old Rostrevor man, before running into a fence.
The man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with chest and leg injuries, but subsequently died.
The driver of the car, a 35-year-old man from Rostrevor, was not injured in the crash.
Traffic was banked up along North Tce, Payneham and Magill roads, as speed restrictions were put in place around the crash site this morning.
They have since been lifted.

The man’s death brings the state’s road toll to 29 compared to 17 this time last year.
It comes after a fatal crash in the Riverland overnight, where a mother died and her two children were injured when a B-double truck and a car collided head-on.
There was also a serious crash in Gomersal on the western side of the Barossa Valley at 7.45am on Wednesday.
