FIRE has caused about $300,000 damage to a pizza bar in Adelaide’s south.

FIRE has caused about $300,000 damage to a pizza bar in Adelaide’s south.

A blaze broke out at the Cliff Ave, Port Noarlunga South shop about 3am on Sunday morning, spreading to the roof and restaurant area.

MFS and CFS crews attended and extinguished the fire within 15 minutes.

Adjacent shops were not damaged during the incident.

No one was at the pizza shop when it caught alight and the cause is believed to be accidental. Fire cause investigators will examine the scene today.
