Woman’s body found in Adelaide CBD home on Sturt St
Police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found inside an Adelaide CBD home on Monday night.

Police are on scene at a house on Sturt St in the Adelaide CBD after a woman’s body was found on Monday evening.
The death is being treated as suspicious, with Eastern District detectives taking charge of the investigation.

The street has been closed off as detectives and forensic services personnel examine the scene.
A nearby restaurant was closed early following the discovery.
It is believed the woman’s body was found in an upstairs room of the double-storey house.
Last night, police could be seen coming and going through the lower level while a forensic photographer examined the upstairs room. This morning there was still a large police presence.
Sturt St is closed between Logan St and Little Gilbert St.
It is likely to remain closed into Tuesday morning as police search the surrounding alleys and yards.
