A teenage boy has taken to hospital with ‘significant’ injuries after he was hit by a car outside a busy Gold Coast school.

A teenage boy has been injured after he was hit by a car outside Nerang State High School.
Emergency services were called to Weedons Rd at 3.15pm on Thursday afternoon to reports of a pedestrian and vehicle crash.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a male in their teens had suffered “significant” injuries to their leg and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
