A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after a wounding incident overnight on the Gold Coast.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to Whiting Street in Labrador at 8.12pm on Wednesday.
Gold Coast police said they responded to reports a 40-year-old was wounded with a “sharp implement” but could not yet confirm if it was a knife or something else.
The man was taken to Gold Coast University hospital in a serious condition with leg and arm injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
