Sanctuary Cove’s owner will survey its residents about the exclusive enclave’s future as it prepares to further develop the property.
Invetment group Mulpha will this week begin its “most comprehensive community engagement campaign” since taking over the Hope Island resort in 2002.
Mulpha development director Barry Teeling said the “landmark” survey would be used to shape the future of the precinct.
“As the world continues to evolve, Mulpha is conscious of the need to partner with our communities to stay abreast of this change and to evolve appropriately alongside it,”
he said.
“We are therefore seeking greater and more constant engagement with our community members to ensure that Sanctuary Cove maintains its premium lifestyle.
“The community needs to be at the centre of everything we do, so we are reaching out to be even more focused on understanding people’s needs, wants and dreams.”
It comes after a revolt by residents who fear plans to build new units at the precinct would make the Mike Gore-built resort too high density.
