A Gold Coast supermarket has been added to Queensland Health’s list of Covid-19 exposure sites.

Woolworths at the Mudgeeraba Market Shopping Centre, on Swan Ln, Mudgeeraba, was added as a “casual contact” site on Saturday.

Anyone who visited the store between 2.55pm and 3.20pm on Monday August 2 asked to get tested as soon as possible and to quarantine until they receive a negative result.

It comes as Queensland recorded 13 new cases linked to the Delta cluster on Saturday.

Queensland Health advice for ‘casual contacts’

If you have been to any of the below locations at the relevant times you must do the following:

- immediately travel by private transport directly to your home or accommodation and quarantine

- get tested at your earliest opportunity

- continue to quarantine until you receive a negative result

- enter your details into the contact tracing form by clicking or tapping on the name for the relevant location in the table below. You will not be contacted by Queensland Health unless additional information about the exposure changes the risk level

- continue to monitor for symptoms, if you become symptomatic get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Southport exposure sites

A BUSY Southport petrol station was on Tuesday night added to Queensland Health’s list of Covid-19 exposure sites.

Ampol Foodary (previously Caltex), which is located at the corner of Smith St and Kumbari Ave, was listed as a ‘casual contact’ site.

Anyone who visited the store between 9.40am and 10am on Friday July 30 is asked to get tested as soon as possible and to quarantine until they receive a negative result.

FULL DIGITAL ACCESS: JUST $1 A WEEK FOR THE FIRST 12 WEEKS

It came after a popular Southport restaurant was added to the list of Covid-19 ‘close contact’ exposure sites earlier in the day.

Anyone who was at Kua Thai Isan Traditional Thai Restaurant at Southport’s Sungold Arcade from 12.30pm to 2pm on July 30 is asked to quarantine at home immediately, get tested as soon as possible and remain in self-quarantine for 14 days from that date.

A servo at the Hyperdome Logan was also listed as a ‘close contact’ exposure site. Anyone who was at the Ampol Foodary at the Hyperdome between 8.45am and 9.15am on Friday July 30 is also asked to take the same strict precautions.

Queensland Health lists three levels of exposures sites – close contacts, casual contacts and low risk – with close contact being the most serious.

THE Kmart store at Westfield Helensvale has been added to an updated list of Covid-19 exposure sites on the Gold Coast.

The shop is listed as a “casual contact location”.

Anyone at the store between five pm and 5.30 on Monday July 12 is asked to quarantine at home and get tested as soon as possible.

The Kmart joins a lengthy list of possible exposure sites across the Gold Coast released by Queensland Health since Friday.

It comes after a flight attendant who entered the Gold Coast and tested positive to Covid’s highly infectious Delta variant picked up a man in Ballina who had travelled illegally from Sydney, and a new case on the Gold Coast was announced on Monday morning.
