A woman has been charged after allegedly breaking into a home before she was confronted by the owner.

A woman has been charged after allegedly breaking into a home before she was confronted by the owner.
A Gold Coast police spokesperson said officers were called after an alleged break and enter at a property on Doherty Ct in Ormeau around 5pm on Wednesday.
It was alleged a man and a woman broke into the home and stole multiple items before leaving in a stolen Hyundai Tucson.
As they allegedly attempted to leave in a stolen Hyundai Tucson, the owner returned home in her black Audi RS7 and confronted the pair.
The duo then allegedly rammed into the owner’s car before they exited the Hyundai and stole the Audi.
Luckily, the owner was not physically injured in the incident.
Officers later found a 28-year-old Dunwich woman who was charged in relation to the incident.
She was charged with three counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count of enter dwelling with intent.
She was due to appear before Beenleigh Magistrates court on Thursday.
Officers are continuing to try and find the man who was involved in the incident and the Audi.
