One of Ghislaine Maxwell’s accusers claimed she once saw a photo of the British socialite “nude and pregnant” inside of Jeffrey Epstein’s Florida mansion.
The woman, who testified using only her first name, Carolyn, was asked by defence lawyers at Ms Maxwell’s federal sex-trafficking trial in Manhattan about statements she’d previously made to prosecutors.
“One of your memories about Ms Maxwell is you claim that you saw a photograph of her in Epstein’s house, pregnant. Correct?” lawyer Jeffrey Pagliuca asked Tuesday local time, referring to Epstein’s Palm Beach House.
“Nude and pregnant laying on the -” Carolyn began to respond – at which point Mr Pagliuca interjected, “And pregnant.”
“Yes. There was multiple pictures, nude photos,” the witness replied after a pause.

Mr Pagiluca then approached Carolyn with a photo, entered as a defence exhibit, that was not shown publicly in court.
“That is not the photo,” the witness stated.
That same image was shown by defence lawyers to another witness, longtime Epstein pilot David Rodgers, in court on Wednesday. Mr Rodgers said the photo was of a pregnant Eva Andersson Dubin, a former Miss Sweden and ex-girlfriend of Epstein’s.
The brief exchange with Carolyn came at the end of her gruelling cross-examination by Mr Pagliuca, who confronted her over apparent inconsistencies in her court testimony and previous statements to law enforcement and in depositions.
It came after Ms Maxwell’s defence team asked a previous witness if he had ever seen Epstein’s alleged madam pregnant.
Another longtime Epstein pilot, Larry Visoski, who regularly interacted with Ms Maxwell for about 15 years from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s, said he’d never known her to be pregnant.
“Now, in that whole time period, Ghislaine never appeared to you to be pregnant, did she?” Ms Maxwell’s lawyer Christian Everdell asked.
“No, not at all,” Mr Visoski replied.
Mr Everdell asked: “No one ever told you she was pregnant?” to which the pilot responded, “No, never said that.”
“And you never saw any pictures of her pregnant at any of the residences?” the lawyer continued.
“No, I did not,” answered Mr Visoski, who was the first witness to testify.
Ms Maxwell is not known to have any children.
Accuser ‘got gifts for sexual massages at 14’
A man who dated Carolyn told a New York court the then 14-year-old would get gifts, including lingerie, after giving the late financier sexual massages.
The man, identified only as “Shawn”, was 17 when he started dating 14-year-old Carolyn. He said Ms Maxwell or Sarah Kellan would call her to make massage appointments.
Shawn, who has a son with Carolyn, says she would call Ghislaine “Maxwell” because she couldn’t pronounce her first name.
Ms Maxwell, who has pleaded not guilty to six counts of enticing and transporting minors for sex, is accused of grooming underage girls to be exploited by her long-time partner Epstein.
Shawn told the court he would wait in the driveway of Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion in Florida for about an hour as Carolyn would go inside to give Epstein a massage.
The prosecutor asked him to describe Carolyn’s level of intelligence in those years.
“She was a child,” he told the jury.
He testified that he was also dating two other girls at the same time named Melissa and Amanda who he would also take to Epstein’s mansion.
Shawn said he remembers lingerie and a movie being sent to Carolyn by FedEx from New York.
He admitted in court that he was using drugs at the time and was later arrested in Louisiana for possessing methamphetamine and for being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.
He said that he is now a salesman.
Asked how Carolyn had met Epstein, he corroborated her testimony from yesterday that Virginia Roberts Giuffre introduced them.
He said that he was present when Ms Roberts told Carolyn she could make money by giving Epstein massages.
Shawn said that Carolyn was excited to make money.
Ms Maxwell allegedly said, “You can bring her upstairs and show her what to do.”
Upon entering Epstein’s bathroom, Giuffre took a massage table out of the closet, and then took her clothes off, before asking Carolyn if she’d be comfortable doing the same.
Epstein entered, got onto the massage table facedown, and after 45 minutes turned over, and “Virginia got on top of him” and had sex with him, Carolyn said.
Carolyn revealed she then went to Epstein’s house “over 100” times between the ages of 14 and 18, where she gave massages to him.
She recalled how he would touch her breasts and buttocks, and that the encounters would end with him masturbating until he ejaculated.
“Something sexual happened every single time,” Carolyn said.
During her interactions with Ms Maxwell, Carolyn was asked about sex toys and Ms Maxwell touched her.
“I was upstairs setting up the massage table and at that point I was kind of comfortable because I’d been there so many times,” she said.
“I was getting fully nude, and she came in and felt my boobs and my hips and my buttocks and said … that I had a great body for Mr Epstein and his friends. She just said that I had a good body type.”
