Dashcam footage has shown the moment before a ute flipped on its roof in a dramatic crash in Waurn Ponds on Wednesday afternoon.
Two people were taken to hospital following the collision at the intersection of Pioneer and Colac roads, near the Waurn Ponds shopping centre, about 12:30pm.
The footage shows a white ute turning left onto Pioneer Rd, allegedly through a red light.
A black ute travelling along Colac Rd then collides with the ute, causing it to flip on its roof.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokeswoman said a doctor, who was passing by at the time, stopped to help those involved in the collision.
“No persons were trapped,” the spokeswoman said.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said four people were assessed by paramedics at the scene, with two taken to Geelong hospital in a stable condition.
