A factory has been destroyed after a suspicious fire in Moolap on Monday.

Emergency services were called to Buckley Grove just after midnight and found the factory fully alight.

Fire crews spent 90 minutes bringing the blaze under control.

Footage from the scene show thick smoke billowing from the brick building.

The roof of the factory had collapsed but a shed and part of a red brick exterior remained standing.

It is understood the factory manufactured bricks.

Construction materials, including pallets of stone paving and bricks, could be seen outside the building which had burnt down.
