Detectives are seeking a man wanted over an alleged sexual act on a Geelong line train as information comes to light on six other people wanted on warrant.
Images have been released of a man police hope the public can help identify in relation to a lewd act performed in front of female commuters on a V/Line train between Geelong and Tarneit on September 5 last year.
Victoria Police and Crime Stoppers have recently provided more information over the unsolved crime, with the male described as African in appearance, medium height with a slim build.
It’s believed during the offence he was wearing a white beanie.
It comes as Geelong police issued mug shots of persons of interests over a number of crimes, with all six believed to live in or frequent the Geelong and Surf Coast areas.
“Each has several outstanding warrants for various offences,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
“Like always, we strongly encourage each person pictured to pop past their nearest police station to have their matters promptly dealt with.”
If anyone can identify the person wanted over the V/Line offence please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference number CSPT1618.
