Four children are among seven people taken to hospital following a fiery crash in Mount Moriac.

Emergency services were on scene of the crash involving at least one Toyota HiLux and Ford Territory at the intersection of Reservoir Rd and Cape Otway Rd in Mount Moriac.

The collision occurred around 9.30am on Saturday, with at least five vehicles on scene at one point.

It’s understood one of the vehicles failed to give way turning out of Reservoir Rd onto Cape Otway, hitting the other vehicle.

A Victoria Police spokesman said police were investigating after two vehicles had collided at the intersection of Cape Otway and Reservoir roads about 9.30am.

“The occupants of one of the vehicles, a man, woman and two children, were all taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” he said.

The female driver of a second vehicle and two child occupants were also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
