A female empowerment summit is taking place in Geelong this weekend.
Online health and fitness coach Ruby Darcy is hosting the Empower Action Summit which will be held at Higher Mark at GMHBA stadium on Sunday.
Ms Darcy, who now lives on the Gold Coast but grew up in Geelong, started her online coaching business over Covid.
She now has more than 5000 followers on her Instagram coaching page.
“I was a personal trainer before but I love coaching because I can dig deeper into people and uncover things they may not have known about themselves before,” she said.
Ms Darcy created the event after having powerful conversations with various people she had met in the health and wellness space.
“I thought that we all needed to get into a room with other people to inspire them and have these conversations about their own journeys and how they overcame the obstacles they’ve faced,” she said.
Ms Darcy will be joined by four health and wellness influencers from Geelong on the conversation-style panel.
They include world renowned strength trainer and fitness influencer Stephanie Sanzo, manifestation and spiritual coach and podcast host Allira Potter, online coach Gemma Ruffin and money mindset speaker Nicole Alesios.
The summit aims to help females find clarity and confidence on how to create their dream life.
“The summit is about empowering women mentally, physically and financially,” she said.
“I think it’s so important because a lot of people underestimate the impact and the power they already have.”
Ms Darcy has also revealed her top tips for female empowerment, which she will be delving into deeper on Sunday’s summit.
“Identify your core values and be aware of your support system and who you can lean on,” she said.
“Think with logic, not with emotion.”
“Anchor in your unique strengths because everyone has their own power, don’t get caught up in comparison.”
“Most importantly, lead with self-love and kindness.”
The Empower Action Summit will be held on November 13 at GMHBA stadium.
