Easter: What’s open in Geelong

Most services in the region will shut down on Good Friday, but here’s a list of the few places that are operating. SEE THE LIST

What’s open on Good Friday?

Good Friday is a national public holiday and restricted trading day.

Supermarkets:

Woolworths, Coles and Aldi supermarkets are closed.

Shopping centres:

Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Westfield Shopping Centre and Corio village are all closed.

Public transport:

V/Line services will run to a Sunday timetable for the Good Friday public holiday.

Scheduled coach services will run to an altered Sunday timetable.

Service stations:

APCO service stations will be open on Good Friday.

Council services:

All libraries in the Geelong Regional Libraries’ network will be closed over the Easter period, starting from Thursday 14 April at 5pm, and reopening on Tuesday 19 April.

What’s open on Easter Saturday?

Supermarkets:

Woolworths, Coles and Aldi supermarkets will trade as normal

Shopping centres:

Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Westfield Shopping Centre and Corio village will trade as normal.

What’s open on Easter Sunday:

Supermarkets:

Woolworths, Coles and Aldi supermarkets will trade as normal

Shopping centres:

Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Westfield Shopping Centre and Corio village will trade as normal.

Council services:

All libraries in the Geelong Regional Libraries’ network will be closed over the Easter period, starting from Thursday 14 April at 5pm, and reopening on Tuesday 19 April.

What’s open Easter Monday:

Supermarkets:

Woolworths, Coles and Aldi supermarkets will trade as normal

Shopping centres:

Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Westfield Shopping Centre and Corio village will trade from 10am-5pm.

Public Transport:

Easter Monday public holiday V/Line services will run to a Saturday timetable for the Easter Monday public holiday.

Council services:

All libraries in the Geelong Regional Libraries’ network will be closed over the Easter period, starting from Thursday 14 April at 5pm, and reopening on Tuesday 19 April.
