Another disability service provider in Geelong has entered administration, with the company allegedly owing almost $2m to creditors.

U and I Inclusions, located in Moolap, operates across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast, specialising in providing NDIS support services and adult day services.

Scott Anderson and Nathan Deppler of Worrells were appointed as administrators on June 12.

Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) documents reveal the company allegedly owes $1,959,592 to creditors, as well as tens of thousands of dollars to their employees.

According to the documents, the company owes annual leave, superannuation and money to government bodies and personal loans.

The documents show the business owes $32,985 in superannuation to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

The documents also reveal the business allegedly owes $1,273,087 to M and J Kennedy (a related party to the business), $660,182 to N and J Drayton Super Fund, and $26,323 to the ATO.

Additionally, the business had $70,000 worth of employee annual leave balances as of June 12.

The company was registered in September 2019 and lists 111A Coppards Rd, Moolap as the registered place of business.

The first meeting between creditors of the company under administration will take place on June 24.

According to their website, U and I Inclusions offers NDIS-approved day programs, camps, and overnight and weekend respite care for people with disabilities.

“Our mission is to create a world where people with disabilities have equal opportunities and can live without discrimination or prejudice,” the website states.

U & I Inclusions has been contacted for comment.

The Moolap business is the latest in a number of support services in the region to have an administrator appointed or go into liquidation.

Ohana Support Coordination was placed into liquidation in April, while an administrator was appointed for fellow disability support organisation Roaring Respite on the same day.

James Aaron McKenzie is listed as the director of both organisations, according to ASIC documents.

Administrator Richard Lawrence, from Mackay and Goodwin, said Ohana Support Coordination’s unprofitable position was largely attributed to “exorbitant expenditure.”
