Geelong recruiting doyen Stephen Wells is renowned for picking players out of nowhere and his list of draft gems is comprehensive.
Wells first joined Geelong 40 years ago, so we thought we would try and whittle that list down to 40 — easier said than done.
There is plenty of unique stories among the bunch, and there were a number of quality Cats who were stiff to miss.
