Last year’s Geelong Cup winner Amade is in the main event and is $13 to go back-to-back, with Birdman the favourite at $4.

The Chris Waller trained Francesco Guardi (IRL) has been withdrawn from the Geelong Cup.
The seven-year-old was scratched on Wednesday morning with Waller’s runner now expected to target a run in the Moonee Valley Gold Cup on Friday.
It was the second of Waller’s horses to be withdrawn after five-year-old Manzoice was removed on Tuesday.
