Move over Charlie Cameron – young Auskicker Evelyn Soldani has got you covered on the goal celebrations front.

While Cameron brings out the motorbike, Evelyn, 7, is a state champion in calisthenics and celebrates all of her goals at St Mary’s Auskick in style.

After being nominated for Team NAB Auskick, she got the chance to show off her dancing moves on free-to-air TV at the halftime break of Geelong’s loss to Port Adelaide.

The bright lights of TV can be daunting for anyone, but when asked by Geelong legend Joel Selwood to perform one of her trademark celebrations on Channel 7, Soldani casually pulled off a walking handstand.

But this was the watered down version of what she normally produces on the footy field.

“She does a round-off, two hand springs. But she wasn’t allowed to do that in the interview because they didn’t have the consent form signed and it was too dangerous,” Evelyn’s mother, Jamie, said with a laugh.

“She’s also very much a dancer, she also loves – in between kicking goals at Auskick – she does lots of cartwheels on the grass there.”

A hardcore Cats fans, Evelyn loves seeing her favourite players Jeremy Cameron and Tom Hawkins up and about.

“They kick really good goals and I go for the Cats because they are a good team,” Evelyn said.

“She has always loved going to the footy, even as a toddler she would sit through a full game and love to wave her flag,” Jamie added.

Evelyn looks forward to playing for St Mary’s when she is older, where her connection to the club is strong.

Not only does she play Auskick there, her dance teacher ‘Mr Mac’ – Tom McFarlane – runs around in the reserves.

Expect to see plenty of highlights when she does run out for the Saints, as those extravagant celebrations won’t be going away anytime soon.

“I think they will stick with me forever,” Evelyn said.
