Two cars have collided near Barwon Heads Airport sparking a major response from emergency services.
Ambulance Victoria responded to reports of an incident on Barwon Heads Rd in Connewarre about 2.25pm on Saturday.
Spokeswoman Samantha McCombe said advanced life support paramedics were on scene just after 3pm.
Victoria Police sergeant Melissa Seach confirmed two cars had collided, however “no serious injuries” were sustained.
The crash occurred near Barwon Heads Airport and Skydive Great Ocean Road, causing minor traffic congestion on Saturday afternoon.
One witness who was driving on Barwon Heads Rd said it appeared a car had come off the road following the collision and crashed into a ditch.
Traffic was being directed by police and both lanes remained open.
“It’s moving a lot slower but you can still get through,” she said.
“It looked pretty bad for one of the cars.”
At least 10 emergency service vehicles initially responded to the incident.
