Missing six year old Perth boy dies

RADIATING good vibes and happy energy it’s no surprise Memory Eugine has been revealed as the Cairns Post’s best childcare worker.

The 25-year-old from Earlville Early Education was the stand out choice of the Cairns Post readers voting in an online poll and was happy to be acknowledged by parents of the little people she looks after every day.

“A lot of our educators that are also employed here are people who have taught me and mentored me along the way,” she said.

The early childhood educator said she loved her job and got a kick out of seeing the children grow and reach learning milestones.

“And still a lot of families we keep in contact with, they come and revisit the centre once the kids are going to school,” she said.

From the Cook Islands Ms Eugine said she was brought up in a big family and has been at Earlville Early Education since the centre first opened.

“So we started from the bottom and brought it up to what it is now,” she said.

“It’s just a rewarding job and being brought up in a big family is probably a big part of it.”
