Warrant issued for alleged Westcourt health facility fraudster
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 32-year-old Westcourt man alleged to have targeted an elderly man with fraud at a North Cairns health facility.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 32-year-old Westcourt man alleged to have targeted an elderly man with fraud at a North Cairns health facility.
It is alleged Aaron Stanley Savo stole the bank cards of a 76-year-old man while the pair were inside the facility on July 25.
Police also alleged he used the cards to make purchases at several locations across Westcourt.
The man has been charged with seven counts of fraud.
Mr Savo was initially arrested in Westcourt on August 10 and is on bail.
He failed to appear at Cairns Magistrates Court on August 24. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Police are currently investigating reports of other similar incidences that may have occurred at other medical facilities.
In a statement police said they are urging the public to keep an eye on the belongings of elderly family members and friends when at these facilities.
Police encourage anyone who thinks they may have fallen victim to similar crimes are urged to report it to police.
