These are the words used to describe mechanics across Far North Queensland.
When the Cairns Post put out the call to find the region’s favourite, we were inundated with nominations from grateful clients.
Savage Mechanical in Innisfail was nominated by a number of satisfied clients, with one person claiming nothing is too hard for the “amazing” team.
“These guys are honest, fairly priced and 100 per cent committed to quality workmanship,” the nomination read.
“Nothing is too hard for them and they go the extra mile or hours past close to help those in times of ‘unplanned’ breakdowns.”
Bradley Crawford from Crawfords Mechanical nominated Sean Henderson from Auto-Mate Mechanical Repairs.
“I’d personally say as a mechanic myself, I think Sean Henderson Auto-Mate Mechanical & Repairs are a top notch mechanical service and great people to deal with extremely professional,” Mr Crawford said.
Barry Clough Auto Repairs was another popular shop with commenters, with clients impressed by the friendly and dedicated service.
“They have been an awesome mob who have supported me with car services for a long time and have time to chat with you about everything and anything that concerns you with your vehicle,” a client said.
Troy Knight from Torque Masters Auto Repair was crowned Far North Queensland’s best mechanic in 2022.
