Truck driver rushed to hospital after rollover on Tully Gorge Rd, Walter Hill
A truck driver has been hospitalised after the vehicle he was driving rolled 160km south of Cairns late on Monday afternoon.

A truck driver has been hospitalised after the vehicle he was driving rolled 160km south of Cairns late on Monday afternoon.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the incident occurred on Tully Gorge Rd at Walter Hill, 5km west of Tully.
When paramedics arrived, however, the driver had already been transported to Tully Hospital by private means.
“QAS was not called to incident until 5.17pm,” she said.
“By the time we arrived there were no patients at the scene and we understand the rollover happened some time earlier.”
Maclagen Keith Pauline shared images of the wreck, face down in a ditch, on social media.
“He (the driver) was fairly hurt with head injuries but thanked me for pulling up and another fellow was taking him to hospital,” he posted to Facebook.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesman said they were advised of the truck rollover around 5.17pm.
“The truck rollover occurred 5km out of Tully and we have two crews on scene,” he said.
“The driver has been transported to hospital.
“QFES crews reported the incident under control and further crew were put on stop and released from attending the scene.”
A Queensland Police spokesman said officers were not yet in attendance.
