UPDATE: A Single storey brick home has been destroyed after emergency crews took about five hours to put out the flames.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesman said the last crew left the home on Arthur Ballie Road at Ravenshoe about 12.10pm after they initially got there around 7am.
The spokesman said the last crew had just been putting out hot spots but the home was badly damaged.
He said investigations were ongoing into the cause of the fire.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said on arrival they attended two people but they did not need treatment.
EARLIER: A FAR North home has been destroyed after it was engulfed by flames early on Monday morning.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews were called to the home on Arthur Ballie Road at Ravenshoe about 7am on Monday.
Paramedics were on scene from 7.15am but there have been no reports of anybody being injured.
The QFES spokeswoman said the home’s owners had made the initial call for help and all people and animals were safe.
“The house seems to be gone. It is in decay mode,” she said.
One truck was on scene this morning while two trucks from Millaa Millaa and Atherton were on their way.
This comes as another home was fully covered in flames on Sunday night.

A female patient was taken to Cairns Hospital after the unit fire on Centenary Close at Manoora about 9.44pm.
A QFES spokeswoman said the fire was contained to one unit and the building was evacuated but it is being investigated.
