BIG name headline acts are joining the line-up for a highly anticipated Far Northern festival kicking off in September.
Savannah in the Round director James Dein announced the festival’s next big international talent, joining headliner Brad Paisley, when he confirmed Mackenzie Porter would be coming to the region.

“We’re thrilled to have her (and Brad), it’s quite frankly a big deal,” he said.
Other local artists and bands were added to the mix with Amy Sheppard, Mick Thomas and the Black Sorrows.
“Our festival has always been inclusive, we support and nurture local artists and careers and Savannah in the Round will always be a First Nations inclusive festival,” Mr Dein said.
Mr Dein said the event will be the biggest yet with the Mareeba Rodeo venue to hold up to 7000 day visitors and 60,000 guests across all days.
“We’re selling a lot of tickets but the price of airfares and the impact in Cairns with accommodation has put a bit of pressure for visitors coming in from southern states … we’re focusing on people driving in and the drive markets,” he said.
“We encourage locals to visit us and take advantage of our good price day tickets.”
The event is on September 30 to October 2 and tickets are available at savannahintheround.com.au.
